Rosemary Keogh considers herself pretty adaptable - she dealt with her father's death-bed edict that she moved across the country to work at his latest hotel with five half-sisters, (most of whom she hadn't known existed) hadn't she? She settled into the routine, even grew to like most of them, but when tragedy leaves her birth daughter parentless - and she is named as the guardian - her world spins again.
Trying to raise a nine-year-old who shares her spunk and determination isn't always an easy thing. When Rosemary starts having mysterious 'accidents,' though, her worries shift from being a bad mother to leaving her daughter an orphan yet again.
Adding to the confusion, Harrison Forest, head of the resort's human resources department, decides it's time to shift their relationship from semi-adversarial to something a whole lot more interesting. Can they get past the roadblocks she's been throwing in their way to make things work? More importantly, will she survive that long?

Rosemary & Harrison have been at each other’s throats ever since they’ve known each other. Now, Rosemary’s life has taken an extreme turn. She’s moved across the country per her father’s will. Her illegitimate daughter has come back into her life after her adoptive parents died. They have named Rosemary as Cleo’s guardian. And Harrison is suddenly acting friendly. Now it seems like someone is out to hurt her!Harrison has enjoyed sparring with Rosemary but it has hidden deeper feelings. He knows she has had a rough life but didn’t realize the total effect it has had on her. He’s happy to see her start to relax around Cleo and begin to become part of the family with her sisters. He’ll do anything to protect her. Who is trying to hurt her & why? Will she ever turn to him?
I love the relationship between Rosemary, Cleo & Cleo’s adoptive parents. They’ve become the family Rosemary needed & hoped for. She grieved for them deeper than the death of her father. Rosemary has trouble accepting love because it was rarely shown to her. I loved seeing Rosemary’s personality begin to open up to her sisters’ affection. I really felt bad for Cleo & all that she’s been through. This was another great addition to the series!

Family Matters DiCarlo Brides Book 4 (Audible Audio Edition) Heather Tullis Valerie Gilbert Jelly Bean Press Books Reviews
Word of warning I didn't make time for reading all the way, your going to want to. This is a crazy kind of story, some scary action. Love the family action, can't imagine the closeness. This is good for the soul.
Tis is another great addition to the DiCarlo brides series. Tallis continues to weave the stories of the women who are thrust together when their father dies, even though they didn't know most of the others existed. This novel tells the story of Rosemary and does a fine job exploring her troubled history. In some ways it is the same story as the other three books have been, but it is hard to care about that because Tullis does a great job making the details such that they are both unique and they matter.
I'd recommend this to someone who has already read the other three DICarlo brides books and enjoyed them, and I would recommend the series to someone looking for a fun romantic mystery.
I'm really enjoying the DiCarlo Brides series by Heather Tullis! Each book is a stand alone mystery so there's no need to worry if you jump into the middle books. The characters are great and their interaction is superb. This book is a sweet and clean very suspenseful romance.
Another great read in the dicarlo series. Although Sage's story is my favorite so far, it was interesting to get into rosemary and Harrison's story. My only complaint is that with each book in the series, I'm noticing more errors. In this one it was minor things such as leaving the s off of she so it read he, minor editing errors. Also, after describing Harrison's house a couple different times in the book, toward the end of the story it was referred to as an apartment. Nothing major, but enough to be slightly annoying and the reason for only four stars. As good as this series is, a professional editor, and not her husband, would be a good investment. Overall, I have loved the clean romance and intrigue of this series and would definitely recommend. I'm looking forward to reading the stories of the last two sisters.
Rosemary's story is fun to read .It keeps you guessing on who is to blame for the string of things that keep happening to her. it was also interesting how Wanda thinks she owes her....really for what? it sure sounded like she had received all sho e deserved. It was sad how unwanted and unloved kept coming up. I am happy Rosemary finally realized that Harrison was the best fit for her and Cleo!
Rosemary has had a secret for the last 10 years that no one else knew. Sage with her wonderful advice warned her one day good would come out of a tragedy. Her daughter's adoptive parents are killed and they are giving her back her daughter. Harrison is Sage's brother and also HR director. They had met years before but ended badly but he liked her. The connection came when they remet in CO. He needs to get the nerve to ask her out. And help her deal with what is happening.
I have found the DiCarlo series really enjoyable and was eager to read the next part of the chronicle. Rosemary's story certainly entertained and held my interest. The plot is similar to the other books with the sister encountering elements of danger as she and Harrison work through their relationship. Adding Cleo to this story brought another dimension to the DiCarlo family and keeps the reader wanting to know more. It also gives the saga another line of interest for the reader. With so many sisters' stories to tell, Tullis needs unique histories of the sisters to maintain interest, and she did a very good job with Rosemary. Her prickly personality and background secrets kept me intrigued. Truthfully, I figured out early in the story who was behind the evil deeds in the book, but it just added to my interest because I wanted to see how it would be revealed to the family. For those who like a light romance with a bit of mystery thrown in and clean language, this book is perfect.
